I am Bill Abatecola of Tucson, AZ. I was born in Rhode Island and moved to Tucson in 1991. My company is proud of serving the area sinc 1989. I work closely with my clients to actualize their ideas and ensure that they have a role in the creative process. My sculptures are now residing coast to coast in Alaska, New York, Texas, Florida, Californa, Oregon, Maryland to just name a few.
I learned to weld and fabricate from the age of 7 at my grandfather's side. I continued to learn from my father and brother. I love to think outside of the box - to see something in a piece of metal that no one else may see.
In order to keep prices down, I use 20-80% recycled materials; as you may notice in the pieces above I have repurposed bicycle parts. Now you can 'see' the wind as it moves. I have learned from experience that it is important to use nature to enhance my pieces. To be green, most of my landscape art is wind activated.
I give back to the community by donating pieces to Ronald McDonald's House, Casa De Los Ninos, Ara Parasigian's Fund and other local charities.
